Let's talk about the daily grind and special vocabulary

The first day of school varies in different areas around the world because of the differences in weather, climate, season, and culture. However, the normal pattern is for school to begin in late August or early September in the northern hemisphere and in late January or early February in most Southern Hemisphere countries.

In the United States, for many school districts in various states schools opens on the day after Labor Day (first Monday in September). On that day, public transportation services increase and start the rush hour earlier.

So, September has arrived. For many people this signals the end of the summer holidays and the return to the daily grind ( the everyday work/school routine).

Greetings from the U.S

Dear Brazilian Classmates
Greetings from U.S!

I came to the U.S with my best friend. We’re here for about one week.
We’re having a great trip.  My dream was to visit different places in the United States.
We went to a rock concert last Saturday.
On Sunday we went to the City Museum Travel Movies.
We went to the shopping and saw beautiful clothes!
We spent the night in a beautiful and expensive hotel.
I loved every minute of my trip!
We’re going home next week.
Take care!

Carolina :)
Thanks for your beautiful post, Carolina!
